Hi there, I'm Melysia.

Hi there, I'm Melysia.

I’m a designer crafting minimal, user-focused experiences driven by iterative growth, learning, and meaningful impact.

Featured Projects

I’m a designer with a passion for creating user-focused solutions through graphic design, brand design, and UX. Most recently, I served as Lead Designer at Jung Media, where I shaped the brand identity for Kaizen, a 30,000-member crypto community, and led product design for their subscription platform, driving engagement through iterative feedback and minimal, impactful designs.

Before making my pivot into design, I was servicing the construction industry in the project management department. While two distinctly different fields, I’ve been able to bridge the gap with my experiences working with cross-functional teams, scope management, process improvements, and appreciation for design intent in built spaces.

My formal education and learning started at Designlab where I completed a 6+ month boot camp studying user experience and interface design. I have also received my Master of Science degree in User-Centered Design from Brandeis University where I studied user research, prototyping, and inclusive design.

When I’m not collaborating with developers or mapping out a new feature, I enjoy engaging in books pertaining to psychology, philosophy, and how to be an overall better human. I also over-indulge in anime, cosplay, The Stormlight Archive lore, and re-binding books.
